Speech & Language Therapy




Speech and language therapists (SLTs) are allied health professionals who specialise in supporting communication, as well as eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties. They work closely with parents, carers and other professionals, such as teachers, nurses, occupational therapists and doctors. There are around 13,000 practicing SLTs in the UK.

Following a short presentation there will be an opportunity to speak to speech and language therapists who work with both children and adults.  There will also be the opportunity to hear from service users.

You will be welcome to ask questions relating to any aspect of the training or career.
